My name is Ashley and I am a 5th grade teacher in Southwest Missouri!
This is my sixth year teaching. In the past I have also taught 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade.
I grew up in St. Louis and moved to Springfield to attend Missouri State University.
I graduated in 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education 1-6 and an emphasis in Early Childhood Education.
I spent the rest of the school year subbing in schools around
Springfield until I landed a job in a small town near Springfield. I
spent a year teaching 3rd grade and then jumped at the chance to switch
to 4th. This gave me the opportunity to spend one more precious year
with my favorite first class!
Halfway through my first year teaching, I decided it was the perfect
time to begin working towards a Master's Degree. In May 2014, I
graduated with a Master's Degree in K-12 Administration from Lindenwood
University.
In March 2015, I began dating an amazing man, Dane. A year later he proposed in Chicago, and in October 2016 we got married in Branson.
I have a three year old stepson and on July 3, 2017, my husband and I welcomed our first child.
